My mission statement:
- To combat loneliness
- To share a wealth of knowledge and information with everyone
- To provide an open and supportive platform for anyone regardless of background (wealth, race, sexuality, age, ability etc)
Why the name and how did it all start I hear you ask?
I have always been proud that I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in a whole range of different services, skills and qualifications. I was a member of youth parliament. I then trained in Counselling and law enforcement and when that wasn't enough, I trained with the ambulance service.
I have had a unique journey and have encountered a lot of trauma in my time on this planet. Some of this journey has been long, hard and lonely and some of it I have had to endure on my own. My mission is to make sure others don't have to go through the same thing alone and to raise awareness through training for topics close to my heart and my own journey such as Mental Health, LGBTQI+ and general health and wellbeing.
Some of these times have been dark and lonely, but some have been amazing and eye opening. this is my opportunity to give back to the communities that have made me who i am today and to help others who find themselves in similar positions.
So, why the name though you ask...
Throughout my life, i always like to share my wealth of knowledge and experience with others and would hate someone to feel like they have a question and no-one to ask or don't know where the find the answer. I am always asked questions or for help and support from friends, family and colleagues and often hear "Just Ask Miles".
